Grilled Steak and Beef Recipes

Beef is what many people cook first on an Arteflame. The flat steel cooktop gives a steak full contact with hot metal, so the crust forms evenly from edge to edge. The grill grate over the center fire adds char and smoke.

The cooktop is hottest near the fire and cooler toward the outer edge. Sear a ribeye close to the center, then slide it outward to finish at gentler heat. Thick roasts, brisket and beef ribs need time more than high heat, so they spend longer on the cooler zone.

The recipes below are grouped by cut and style, with the most familiar dishes first. USDA lists 145°F with a 3-minute rest as the safe minimum for whole cuts of beef. Ground beef needs 160°F. See our internal temperature chart for doneness levels.
