1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1/2 lb fresh New Mexican chorizo (casing removed)
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 brioche hamburger buns
4 slices pepper jack cheese
4 tbsp butter (for toasting buns and grilling)
Sliced avocado
