Elevate your grilling experience with a Beer and Cheddar Cheese Fondue, perfect for dipping and sharing.

This easy recipe transforms simple ingredients into a warm, gooey delight, making it a versatile choice for any Arteflame grill session.

Ingredients:
  • 6 ounces beer (any kind you prefer)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (or 1 tsp granulated garlic)
  • 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (alternatives: Manchego or Muenster)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Optional: hot pepper sauce, to taste
  • For dipping: Chopped meats, veggies, bread, or leftover foods
Instructions:
  1. Prep Your Grill: Light up your Arteflame grill, aiming for a medium heat of 350 to 450°F. Use the water test to find the hottest part of the grill for cooking.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a saucepan or cast-iron skillet, combine the shredded cheese, garlic, black pepper, salt, and cornstarch. This mixture will help thicken your fondue.
  3. Cook on the Grill: Place your skillet on the grill. As you begin to stir, gradually pour in the beer. Keep stirring continuously to ensure all ingredients meld together smoothly, without lumps. The fondue should be ready in 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Adjust Consistency: If your fondue is too thick, you can thin it by adding a bit more beer. For those who enjoy a kick, stir in some hot pepper sauce to your cheese mixture.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Once your fondue is creamy and smooth, it’s ready to serve. Use whatever dipping items you have on hand - meats, veggies, bread, or pasta.
