Beer Cheese Fondue Recipe for your Grill
Beer and Cheddar Cheese Fondue
Fondue is a great way to make use of whatever odd foods you have on hand in the refrigerator. It’s also a fun way to keep the kids busy and the adults happy!
Ingredients:
6 ounces beer
1 garlic clove or tsp of granulated garlic
3 cups of sharp cheddar cheese or Manchego or Muenster
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
Chopped meats, veggies, bread and anything left over in your refrigerator.
Directions:
Fire up your Arteflame grill. Preheat the grill to 350 to 450°. To do this, sprinkle a little water on the flat surface of the grill to test for the grill is the hottest. Where the water beads off quickly is where the grill is the hottest.
Combined cheese, garlic pepper salt and corn starch into a sauce pan or cast iron skillet. Place the skillet on the flat cooktop surface of the grill. Start storing the ingredients together while pouring the beer into the sauce pan. Continuously stir until all ingredients are Incorporated and smooth. This takes from 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in hot pepper sauce if you wish into your cheese mixture. If mixture gets too thick add a little more beer.
Enjoy with all of your vegetables breads pastas and meats.
