The Arteflame ONE30 is a 30" grill and griddle combo for cooking a family meal on a standard patio. A hardwood or lump charcoal fire burns in the center under a grill grate that passes 1,000°F for searing. Around it is a 3/8" solid steel cooktop with 700+ sq in of cooking surface, hottest near the fire and cooler toward the edge. The body is one welded piece of Corten steel, so there is no separate base to choose. After dinner it becomes a fire bowl to gather around.
What's in the Complete Set ($1,495)
- The ONE30 grill with a 3/8" steel cooktop
- Center grill grate and grate riser
- Stainless steel side warming tables
- Cherry wood serving blocks that fit over the warming tables
- Stainless steel lid that protects the cooktop and snuffs out the fire
- Seasoning puck and a leather grilling apron
How it cooks
Sear steaks and chops on the center grate, roast vegetables and potatoes on the cooktop next to the fire, and warm bread or keep food hot toward the outer edge. The solid steel sits between the fire and the food, so there are no flare-ups on the cooktop. Cooking for a crowd? The 40" grills have 1,250+ sq in. Short on space? See the 20" ONE20.
Built to stay outside
Arteflame fire bowls and grill bodies are 10-gauge Corten steel, about 3.4 mm (0.135") thick. That is nearly twice the 14-gauge mild steel, about 1.9 mm, that many fire pits are made of. Corten is a weathering steel: outdoors it forms a rust-colored patina that protects the surface and needs no paint. The Stainless Series uses a spun stainless steel fire bowl instead. You always cook on a separate cooktop of hot-rolled steel, never on the Corten. Every Arteflame is made in the USA, ships free within the continental US and carries a 3-year limited warranty.
Questions
How big is the ONE30?
The cooktop is 30" across with 700+ sq in of cooking surface, enough for a family meal with sides.
What is included in the ONE30 Complete Set?
The grill with a 3/8" steel cooktop, center grill grate, grate riser, stainless side warming tables, cherry wood serving blocks, a stainless lid, a seasoning puck and a leather apron, for $1,495.
How long does an Arteflame take to heat up?
Allow 30–45 minutes after you light the fire for the steel cooktop to heat through. The center grill grate is ready for searing once the fire has burned down to a strong bed of coals.
What fuel does the ONE30 use?
Hardwood or lump charcoal. There is no propane tank or gas line.
How do I care for the cooktop?
Scrape it clean while it is still warm, then wipe on a light coat of oil, like a cast-iron pan. A seasoning puck comes with the ONE20, ONE30 and 40" grills. The fire burns off most of what is left.
