Ingredients
1 whole chicken (about 4-5 lbs), spatchcocked
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp kosher salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp vegetable oil (for lighting the grill)
