This Red Hot Chili Burger brings the heat with spicy ingredients like fresh jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, and a fiery chili-infused sauce. Light the Arteflame grill by stacking firewood over vegetable oil-soaked napkins. Let it burn for about 20 minutes. The center grate will sear the burgers, while the outer flat top is perfect for grilling the buns and jalapeños.
Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾ inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Melt butter on the flat top and add the sliced jalapeños and onions. Grill for about 5 minutes until softened and slightly charred. Move them to the side to keep warm.
Place the burger patties on the hot center grate and sear each side for about 3-4 minutes, creating a nice crust. Move the patties to the outer flat top and top each one with a slice of pepper jack cheese. Let the cheese melt as the burgers finish cooking to your desired doneness.
