Start by lighting the Arteflame grill using firewood stacked over vegetable oil-soaked napkins. Wait about 20 minutes until the grill is hot enough, focusing on the outer edges of the flat cooktop for this low-heat cooking process.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the molasses and egg.
