Steakhouse Temperature Searing
Only an Arteflame will sear steaks at 1,000F+ for steakhouse quality steaks right in your own backyard. Why do you need it so hot? Because steakhouses know that you need to sear the outside of the steak to lock in the juices. You need 1,000F+ to get a great sear without over cooking the inside. This is the only way to get rare / medium rare steaks in the inside that are seared to perfection on the outside.
Grill All Food Simultaneously
The grill grate is absolutely unique in reaching 1,000F+ but that’s only the start of the story. The entire cooktop heats up from 450F around the grill grate to 250F around the outside. This means that you can grill all your food in the perfect heat zone, all at the same time. And because the solid cooktop doesn’t let the fire touch your food, you never have flare ups or burnt food again! Just watch your food sizzle to perfection every time.
Only One Temperature
Because the Big Green Egg is a single chamber, all food is heated to the same temperature. But food doesn’t cook that way. Searing a steak needs the egg at its peak temperature (750F) which will burn all your veggies to a crisp! This means that you have to cook most of your food inside on the stove or in the oven while you grill the meat in your egg. This is a huge limitation, especially when grilling for a party.

Single Piece Spun Bowl with Modern Pedestal
The Arteflame fire bowl is made from a single piece of Corten steel that is spun into shape. There are no seams or welds and the spinning process produces a unique organic shape. The Arteflame has a removable fire base for easy cleaning. There is a ring welded inside of the top of the fire bowl to give extra strength and to allow it to be lifted and moved easily even when hot.
Ceramic Body
The Big Green Egg is made entirely from ceramic. Unless, it tips over, it should last a lifetime. The largest 2XL Egg is only 29” (660 sq in.)diameter so the grilling surface is quite a bit less than the Arteflame 30” grills (710 sq in.). The Egg needs a stand or table to sit on as it is too low to grill with by itself.
Fresh air enters from under the Arteflame fire base into the combustion chamber of the fire bowl. The fresh air is then super heated by the fire that sits right on top of the air intake. This super heated air is then injected right into the combustion chamber. Even with the center grill grate installed, this airflow produces incredible heat. It is easy to get the center grill grate over 1,000°F (559°C). This makes it easy to grill steakhouse quality steaks on an Arteflame. It is also great for making pizzeria quality pizzas.

The Arteflame Airflow System
Efficient combustion hinges on proper airflow, and Arteflame prioritizes this crucial element. By drawing in fresh air from the grill's base, the Arteflame ensures a continuous supply of air. This incoming air undergoes superheating before being injected into the combustion chamber, creating a supercharged airflow. This intensified airflow becomes the driving force behind a nearly flawless burn, elevating grill grate temperatures to over 1,000°F (559°C). In contrast, the Ofyr lacks an internal airflow system, leading to persistent smoke issues and inadequate heat.

Rotisserie
The pizza grill grate sits flush with the cooktop. This makes it easy to slide pizzas in and out of the oven. The oven is open to the front so it is easy to see your pizza and get it perfect. The pizza oven temperature can exceed 1,000°F (559°C) just like in the pizzeria so you get that perfect crust !

Pizza Oven
The oven sits right on top of the fire using the included special pizza grill grate. The oven temperature can reach 1,000°F (559°C) just like a real pizzeria pizza oven. The high temperature gives you that perfect pizzeria crust with a nice wood smoke flavor.

Limited Accessories
The Ofyr pizza oven is raised above the fire which dramatically reduces the heat in the oven. Pizza needs high heat to make a great crust and melt the toppings. The Arteflame pizza oven sits right on top of the fire and reaches the same temperature as a real pizzeria brick pizza oven.
The Arteflame pizza oven is a very popular accessory as it can get to over 1,000°F (559°C) and makes pizzeria quality wood fired pizzas! A pizzeria uses wood fired brick ovens to achieve these temperatures as this temperature is needed to get the perfect crust while grilling the toppings at the same time. Pizzeria quality crusts are crispy on the outside without being overcooked on the inside.
At this temperature, a pizza will be ready to enjoy within 90 seconds!
Perfect For All Your Food
The Arteflame allows the grill grate to lay flush with the cooktop. Having the grill grate so close to the fire makes searing steaks super efficient and easy. The grill grate can get over 1,000°F (559°C) to perfect the sear on your steaks. It is easy to grill steakhouse quality steaks on an Arteflame. The flush grill grate also makes moving food on and off the center grill grate absolutely seamless.

Side tables are a great addition to any grill. Perfect for keeping food warm or if you need some extra space to put down your utensils, spices, etc. The Arteflame warming side table is also used for the wood cutting board. It is important not to leave the wooden board outside as the sun will dry it out quickly. The Arteflame wooden cutting board doubles as a serving platter.
