The Platinum Series is Arteflame's 40" grill built in stainless steel instead of the standard Corten-steel body — same 1,250+ square inches of cooking surface, same 1,000°F+ charcoal center ringed by a flat-top griddle, same single-fire two-zone cooking, in a brighter, more formal finish that doesn't develop the rust-toned patina Corten steel does over time.
Two base configurations are available. The Euro Base is the lower-profile, more compact footprint — better suited to a patio where floor space is tight or the grill needs to tuck closer to a wall or outdoor kitchen counter. The Storage Base trades some footprint for an enclosed cabinet underneath the cooktop, giving you a place to keep charcoal, tools, and accessories at the grill instead of hauling them out separately each time.
Stainless steel is the practical reason to choose Platinum over the standard line: it doesn't need the initial patina-forming period Corten steel goes through, it wipes down to a consistent finish, and it reads as a more polished, built-in-kitchen look next to stone or stainless outdoor kitchen fixtures. The tradeoff is mostly aesthetic and price — the cooking mechanics (center sear zone, surrounding griddle, charcoal- or wood-fired, no gas line required) are identical to the Corten-steel 40" grills.
At 1,250+ square inches, this is Arteflame's largest cooking surface, built for hosting: enough room to sear steaks for a crowd on the center grate while the outer griddle handles vegetables, seafood, pancakes, or a full smash-burger station at the same time, all from one bed of charcoal. Like the rest of the Platinum line, the fire pit conversion carries over too — remove the cooktop and the same base becomes an open fire feature.
Both configurations are American-made and ship free within the continental US.
