    Ingredients

    • 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
    • 1 cup plain yogurt
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
    • 2 teaspoons garam masala
    • 2 teaspoons paprika
    • 1 teaspoon turmeric
    • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • Fresh cilantro and lemon wedges, for garnish

    Equipment

    • Arteflame Grill
    • Mixing bowl
    • Aluminum foil or grill mat (optional, for easier cleanup)

    Instructions

    1. Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well until smooth. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight, for the flavors to infuse.

    2. Prepare Your Arteflame Grill: Preheat your Arteflame grill. The unique grill design allows for a central high heat zone and cooler outer edges, providing perfect temperature control for Tandoori Chicken.  NOTE: Use the optional rotisserie for a deeper smokey flavor!

    3. Grill the Chicken: Arrange the marinated chicken pieces on the grill, and cook for about 10-12 minutes on each side. The high heat from the Arteflame grill will sear the chicken, locking in the juices and imparting a distinctive smoky flavor that is characteristic of traditional Tandoori Chicken.  NOTE: Using the rotisserie, the chicken will take at least 30 minutes to cook.  Use a temperature probe to ensure internal temperature is at least 145F. and let it rest after taking it off the grill.

    4. Check for Doneness: Ensure the chicken is thoroughly cooked by checking if the juices run clear or using a meat thermometer to reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

    5. Serve: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon wedges. Serve hot with naan or rice, and enjoy the smoky, succulent flavors of your Arteflame-grilled Tandoori Chicken.

    Conclusion

Grilling Tandoori Chicken on an Arteflame grill elevates this classic dish to new heights, blending traditional flavors with the unique smoky essence only an Arteflame can provide.
