Smoky Garlic Sauce Recipe on the Arteflame Grill

Introduction

Transform your meals with this smoky garlic sauce, crafted on the Arteflame grill. This recipe elevates traditional garlic sauce with a hint of smoke, perfect for drizzling over grilled meats, vegetables, or as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole bulb of garlic
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a healthier option
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro), finely chopped

Equipment

  • Arteflame Grill
  • Small bowl
  • Blender or food processor

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Garlic:

    • Peel the outer layers of the garlic bulb, leaving the skins of the individual cloves intact. Slice the top off the bulb, exposing the individual cloves.
    • Drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Grill the Garlic:

    • Preheat your Arteflame grill.
    • Place the garlic directly on the flat cooktop and roast the garlic until the cloves are soft and golden.  Use a medium heat area of the cooktop so you don't burn the garlic, cook it slowly and completely.  No rush.
  3. Make the Sauce:

    • Let the garlic cool slightly. Squeeze the softened garlic cloves out of their skins into a blender or food processor.
    • Add mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
    • For an added touch, stir in finely chopped fresh herbs.
  4. Serve:

    • Transfer the garlic sauce to a serving dish. It can be served warm or chilled, depending on your preference.

Conclusion

This smoky garlic sauce recipe brings an exciting layer of flavor to a variety of dishes. The subtle smokiness from the Arteflame grill enhances the robust garlic taste, making it a must-try for any BBQ or dinner party.
