Ingredients:
- 4 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated
- 1 lime, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Tools:
- Arteflame grill
- Mixing bowls
- Whisk
- Grilling tongs
- Meat thermometer
Instructions:
-
Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice and zest, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until well blended. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then place them in the marinade. Ensure each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for deeper flavor.
-
Prepare Your Arteflame Grill: Preheat your Arteflame grill.
-
Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the chicken directly on the clean, oiled grill grate of your Arteflame grill for a quick sear. Then grill each side for about 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 150°F (75°C) on the flat cooktop. Use tongs to flip the chicken breasts midway through grilling for even cooking. Remember that the chicken breasts will continue to cook after you remove them from the grill so don't overcook them!
-
Rest and Serve: Once grilled to perfection, transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes. This helps in retaining the juices when sliced. Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
