Prepare the Naan or Pita:
Grill the naan bread or pita for about 1 minute on each side until slightly toasted.
Assemble the Burgers:
Place a lamb patty on each naan or pita.
Top with tomato slices, red onion, crumbled feta, and a generous dollop of green harissa sauce.
Serve:
Enjoy your flavorful Moroccan Lamb Burgers with the zesty and spicy Green Harissa Sauce, a perfect global twist on a classic dish.
Tips
For extra heat, leave the jalapeño seeds in your harissa sauce.
Let the lamb patties rest for a few minutes after grilling to retain juiciness.
Swap naan for burger buns if preferred.
Variations
Try using ground beef or turkey instead of lamb.
Add a yogurt-based sauce for extra creaminess.
Include grilled vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers as toppings.
Best pairings
Serve with a side of sweet potato fries.
Pair with a light, refreshing cucumber salad.
Enjoy with a glass of mint tea or a citrusy white wine.
Conclusion
