Grilled Scallops in Sage Butter on Arteflame Grill

Savor the flavors of the sea with Grilled Scallops in Sage Butter, a quick and luxurious dish cooked on an Arteflame grill. Perfectly golden, buttery scallops every time.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Large Scallops, cleaned and muscle removed
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 3 Fresh Sprigs of Sage
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Arteflame Grill: Start by heating your Arteflame grill to a medium-high heat, preparing it for direct grilling.

  2. Prepare Sage Butter: In a small cast iron skillet placed on the grill, combine ½ cup butter, 3 sprigs of fresh sage, and a sprinkle of salt & pepper. Allow the butter to melt and start to brown slightly, infusing it with sage flavor.

  3. Cook Scallops: Pour a small amount of the sage butter mixture onto the grill's cooktop. Place the scallops directly on the grill, letting them cook in the butter mixture. Grill for about 3 to 5 minutes until they start to turn golden brown.

  4. Flip and Finish: Add a bit more of the sage butter mixture over the scallops before flipping them to the other side. Allow them to cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, ensuring they're golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve Warm: Once cooked, sprinkle the scallops with a bit more black pepper. Serve them warm, right off the grill, for a deliciously buttery and savory seafood dish.
