Grilled Philly Cheesesteak Recipe on the Arteflame Grill

Introduction:

Experience the iconic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with a smoky twist by grilling it on the Arteflame. This recipe combines tender steak, melted cheese, and sautéed vegetables, all grilled to perfection. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or any gathering, this Philly cheesesteak is sure to be a hit.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your Arteflame grill to get it ready to grill.
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced onion and bell peppers with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the vegetables on the flat griddle cooktop and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side of the grill and place the thinly sliced ribeye steak on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the steak is cooked through. NOTE: You can also put the entire ribeye directly on the grill grate for a quick and delicious sear.  Then slice it thinly.  Doing it this way, it will be easier to keep the inside of the steak rare.
  5. Mix the cooked vegetables and steak together on the grill.
  6. Split the hoagie rolls and butter the insides. Place them on the grill, buttered side down, and toast for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Place the provolone cheese slices over the steak and vegetable mixture on the grill, allowing the cheese to melt.
  8. Once the cheese is melted, divide the steak and vegetable mixture evenly among the hoagie rolls.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the steak while grilling.
  • Serve with a side of crispy fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
