Grilled Blueberry Cobbler Recipe | Arteflame Grill Desserts
- 4 cups blueberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 16-ounce tube biscuit dough
- Milk, for brushing
- Cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling
- Butter, for skillet
Instructions:
Prepare the Berry Mixture: In a bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss well to ensure the berries are evenly coated.
- Prep the Skillet: Butter a 10-inch cast-iron skillet generously to prevent sticking.
- Assemble the Cobbler: Spread the blueberry mixture evenly in the buttered skillet. Quarter the biscuits from the tube and scatter them over the berries. Brush the tops of the biscuits with milk and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
- Grill the Cobbler: Cover the skillet with aluminum foil. Place the skillet on the Arteflame grill over medium heat. Grill for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the berries are bubbling and the biscuits have cooked through. The heat from the grill will give the cobbler a unique, smoky flavor that can't be achieved in a regular oven.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once the cobbler is ready, let it cool slightly before serving. This grilled blueberry cobbler is delicious on its own or topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
