Ingredients:
- 2 apples, chopped into half-inch squares
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Scoops of ice cream (optional for serving)

Prepare the Grill: Heat your Arteflame grill to a medium temperature.

Assemble the Turnovers: Place the chopped apples on a square piece of aluminum foil. This will serve as the base for your apple turnover.

Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, lemon juice, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, cumin, and vanilla extract. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Combine and Wrap: Place the oatmeal mixture on top of the apples on the aluminum foil. Seal the edges of the foil tightly to create a packet. For additional security against leaks and to ensure even cooking, wrap the initial packet in two to three more layers of aluminum foil.
