Ginger Mule Cocktail from the Grill

Savor the unique flavors of a Ginger Mule, artfully crafted on your Arteflame grill. Infused with smoky rosemary and ginger, this cocktail is a refreshing blend of spice and sweetness.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4
Difficulty: Easy


  • 2 sprigs of rosemary, plus more for garnish
  • 4 cups of white rum
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger (3-inch), peeled
  • Pure maple syrup (for rimming the cups)
  • @psseasonings Good Fella spice blend (for rimming the cups)
  • 2 cups of cherry soda
  • Lime slices and cherries, for garnish


  1. Prepare the Syrup: Place a small saucepan on the medium heat section of your Arteflame grill. Combine the sugar, ginger, and 1 cup of water in the pan. Bring to a boil, then move to a cooler part of the grill to simmer. Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.

  2. Infuse Rosemary and Smoke: Add a sprig of rosemary to the syrup. Allow it to simmer and absorb the smoke flavor for another 5 minutes.

  3. Mix with Rum: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the white rum and let the mixture cool down, infusing the flavors.

  4. Prepare the Glasses: Rim each glass with maple syrup, then dip the rims into the @psseasonings Good Fella spice blend. Fill the glasses with ice.

  5. Assemble the Drinks: Pour the ginger-rum syrup into each glass, leaving room to top off with cherry soda. Adjust the soda quantity to taste.

  6. Garnish and Serve: Squeeze a bit of lime juice into each drink for an extra zing. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary, a slice of lime, and cherries. Serve immediately and enjoy this grilled twist on a classic mule.
