  • 12 strips of thick-cut bacon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)

Instructions

Step 1: Fire Up the Grill

Start by firing up your Arteflame grill to get it ready for grilling. Ensure the flat cooktop is clean and lightly buttered to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Prepare the Glaze

In a small bowl, mix together the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until well combined.

Step 3: Cook the Bacon

Lay the bacon strips flat on the hot part of the griddle. Cook until the bacon starts to crisp up, about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Flip the bacon halfway through to ensure even cooking.

NOTE: If you're grilling a lot of bacon, there will be a lot of grease.  Make sure your Arteflame is perfect leveled so all the grease flows to the center and into the fire.
