Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup 7UP
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves grated garlic
  • Red pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 bunch scallions, diced (green and white parts separated)
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Wings: In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with 7UP, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, grated garlic, red pepper, sea salt, the white parts of the scallions, and half of the cilantro. Allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes.

  2. Preheat Grill: Activate your Arteflame grill, using water to identify the hottest part of the grill. Aim for a medium to high temperature for optimal grilling.

  3. Grill Wings: Lightly oil the grill's surface. Arrange the wings on the grill, letting them sizzle for 4-5 minutes on each side until they achieve a crispy texture and are thoroughly cooked. Ensure they get a good color by cooking on the outer, hotter part of the grill.

  4. Serve: Transfer the grilled wings to a serving dish, spooning any remaining pan sauce over them. Garnish with the green parts of the scallions and the remaining cilantro.
