Grilled Brie with Cranberry Sauce on the Arteflame Grill

Creamy, melty Brie topped with cranberry sauce and honey

Introduction

This Grilled Brie with Cranberry Sauce is a crowd-pleasing Thanksgiving appetizer that combines warm, creamy Brie with the tart sweetness of cranberries. Cooked on the Arteflame, the Brie becomes soft and melty, while a hint of smoke adds depth to the flavor. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette for a holiday treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie (8 oz)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
  • Crackers or baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Arteflame Grill
Light the Arteflame grill using three vegetable oil-soaked paper napkins with firewood stacked on top. Let the grill heat up for about 20 minutes.

  2. Prepare the Brie

    • Place the wheel of Brie on a piece of parchment paper for easy handling or leave it in the wooden basked it came in.
    • Spoon the cranberry sauce on top of the Brie, then drizzle with honey.
  3. Grill the Brie

    • Set the Brie on the cooler outer section of the Arteflame cooktop.
    • Let it warm for 5-10 minutes until the Brie becomes soft and begins to melt slightly under the cranberry sauce.
  4. Serve

    • Carefully transfer the Brie to a serving plate.
    • Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme, and serve with crackers or baguette slices.

Tips

  • Avoid Overheating: Keep the Brie on the outer edge to prevent it from melting too quickly.
  • Use Homemade Cranberry Sauce: For the best flavor, consider making your own cranberry sauce with fresh cranberries, sugar, and orange zest.
  • Serve Warm: This dish is best served immediately while the Brie is warm and gooey.

Pairing Suggestions

Pair this appetizer with a crisp white wine or a sparkling cider to balance the rich, creamy Brie.
