Grilled Raclette with Potatoes and Sides on the Arteflame Grill

Transform your outdoor dining experience with this delicious Grilled Raclette with Potatoes and Sides, all prepared on the Arteflame Grill. This Swiss-inspired dish brings the warmth and conviviality of raclette to your backyard, offering melted cheese, crispy potatoes, and a selection of sides to satisfy all tastes.


  • Raclette Cheese: 1/2 lb per person, sliced
  • For the Potatoes:
    • Small, whole potatoes (such as fingerling or baby potatoes)
    • Olive oil
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Sides (Choose According to Preference):
    • Sliced cured meats (such as prosciutto, salami, or ham)
    • Pickles and pickled onions
    • Fresh vegetables (such as cherry tomatoes, bell pepper slices)
    • Crusty bread or baguette


  1. Prep the Potatoes:

    • Wash the potatoes and pat them dry. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    • Place the potatoes around the flat cooktop of the Arteflame Grill. Grill, turning occasionally, until they are crispy on the outside and tender inside, about 20-30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Raclette Cheese:

    • Place slices of raclette cheese directly on the Arteflame's flat cooktop.
    • Watch closely to avoid burning, and use a spatula to turn over the cheese until it's all melted and bubbly.  Once melted, move it to a dry spot on the cooktop and leave it on the cooktop just long enough to get a nice crispy bottom.
  3. Grill the Sides:

    • For a grilled twist, lightly brush vegetables with olive oil and season. Grill until charred and tender.
    • Warm slices of crusty bread directly on the grill for a few minutes, flipping once.
  4. Assemble and Serve:

    • Once the cheese is bubbly and the potatoes are grilled, assemble the dish. Place the potatoes on a serving platter, and pour the melted raclette over them.
    • Arrange the grilled vegetables, cured meats, pickles, and warm bread around the potatoes and cheese.
    • Invite your guests to help themselves, creating their perfect bite of melted cheese with their choice of sides.
