Ginger Mule

15 minutes | serves 4 | easy

Ingredients

2 sprigs rosemary, plus more for garnish
4 cups white rum
1 cup sugar
1 3-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
Pure maple syrup and @psseasonings Good Fella, for rimming the cups
2 cups Cherry Soda
Lime slices and cherries, for garnish

Directions

Put a small pan on the medium heat area of your Arteflame. In the pan, combine the sugar, ginger and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, then reposition to reduce the heat and let it simmer, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.  Add a sprig of rosemary.  Let it absorb the smoke flavor for another 5 minutes.  Add the rum to the mixture and let it cool off.

For each drink, rub the rim of the glass with maple syrup, then dip it in the @psseasonings Good Fella spice and add ice.

Serve in a tall glass and add soda to taste.  Squeeze some extra lime into the drink, then garnish with a rosemary sprig, cherries and another slice of lime.  Serves 4.
