American Wagyu Skirt Steak Sandwich on the Arteflame Grill
Grill a luxurious American Wagyu Skirt Steak Sandwich on the Arteflame. Savor the rich flavors of perfectly seasoned steak, melted cheese, and garlic buttered French bread in every bite.
Ingredients:
- American Wagyu Skirt Steak
- Wide French Bread
- Sweet Onions
- Small Portobello Mushrooms
- Cheese (Mozzarella, Pepper Jack, or preference)
- Garlic Butter
- Kosher Salt
- Coarse Pepper
- Granulated Onion
- Granulated Garlic
Instructions:
- Mix equal parts kosher salt and coarse pepper with a quarter part each of granulated onion and garlic for the rub. Apply to the skirt steak.
- Preheat the Arteflame grill. Once hot, lightly oil the steak and place it on the grill alongside the chopped onions and mushrooms with a bit of grapeseed oil.
- Grill the steak to medium rare with a good sear on both sides, then slice.
- Slice the French bread and coat with melted garlic butter. Toast on the grill.
- Place steak slices inside the bread. Sear cheese on the grill briefly, then place on the steak.
- Top with grilled onions and mushrooms. Serve as is, no sauce needed.
